From the creators of Caravanserai
Tea House (of old) and Café Tasca (of more recent), comes
Casablanca – a stylish new eatery inspired by travels all
over the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa.
Set in the al fresco ambience of
Sylvia Park’s Dining Lane, the café is perfectly oriented
for all day sun, with a generous protected patio and wide
open frontage.
Offering casual bar service, ensuring
a quick meal before the movies (10 screens at Hoyts Sylvia
Park) or a coffee to relieve shoppers’ feet, is never too
far away. Open at 10 am weekdays and 9 am weekends the kitchen
is open all day long – serving brunch, lunch, cake &
coffee, a glass of wine with a few meze nibbles in the setting
sun, to a full meal – entrée, main and dessert… catering
to everyone.
The warm atmosphere – contemporary
with an ethnic touch – is just as inviting in the light
of day as it is in the evening, when the lights go down
and the colourful ambience is turned up, fuelled by tasty
food coming from the open kitchen and a nice drop from the
bar. Followers recognise that style – seeming to effortlessly
capture the essence of the eastern Mediterranean whilst
appealing to the Kiwi sense of comfort zone.
